At our last meeting, which was a week before the wedding, I drove home feeling completely confident that you had everything under control and I had no worries what-so-ever, and I was certainly right.

September 3rd arrived and all we had to do was receive the compliments.

You did an excellent job, Carrie, from the smallest details that I would not have even thought of to the obvious which brought on some more details, being at Bjorklunden. I liked your being involved so much with the catering, florist, bar service help at church, etc. Keeping things going smoothly, and the decorations made the lodge look so inviting.

I write this letter at the request of Carrie Baldwin, owner of Door County Meeting and Event Planners. I hired Carrie last summer to assist in the planning of my daughter's wedding which took place on June 24, 2000.

Carrie has an engaging personality and a sincere enthusiasm about her work. She truly enjoys her job and it shows! When I originally met with Carrie I had hired most of my vendors but still needed to find a florist and a DJ. Carrie suggested people for both of these jobs. The florist was a delight to work with -- extremely creative and very artistic. The DJ was terrific, very professional but also very energetic. Carrie has worked in Door County long enough to have become very knowledgeable in terms of contacts around the county. This service is invaluable when planning any event. By using Carrie's contacts I saved a lot of time and effort. She also made several suggestions that saved money as well.

Carrie works well with people. She was at our event on Friday, overseeing large orders from two different rental companies. She took charge of all the inventory, making sure that everything had been delivered and directing the placement of the tents. She works extremely hard herself and is also organized and effective in overseeing the work of those who have been hired to assist her.

She ran the wedding rehearsal beautifully and then on the wedding day itself she worked tirelessly, literally doing whatever jobs needed to be done to keep the wedding running smoothly and on schedule. Because of all of her efforts, I was able to enjoy the wedding, knowing that Carrie was handling all of the last-minute decisions that came up.

I recommend Carrie highly and wish her much success in the years to come.

I just wanted to thank you again for the fabulous job you did in helping us plan our Door County wedding. We definitely could not have done it without you!

From our very first meeting to wrapping up the post-wedding details you were extremely helpful and essential in coordinating, negotiating and generally going well beyond the call of your "contractual" duty. We appreciated your willingness and success in "going to bat for us" in areas where we were unfamiliar and your ability to get us the most for our money in several different instances. Personality wise, your constant cheerfulness and positive attitude saw us through some of the darker, uncertain times in that roller coaster world of wedding planning! We were so pleased with both our ceremony and reception; the flowers from Celeste were gorgeous, Jeff did a fantastic job with the photographs, the DuNord's food was great and we especially appreciated the pull you had in getting us the PERFECT sunset just when we thought the clouds were never going to clear in time! And it was so sweet of you to look after Cleo; she was so much happier with your dogs that she would have been in a kennel.
